A warm hello on a cold night.

Happy December!!!!!!!!!

All is well in the world of me.

It snowed on me this morning in soft, glittery swirls. When the clouds blew away, the temperature continued to drop until it got bitterly cold. 20 degress when I was driving home from the mall. They say Nashville will hit a low of 14 degrees tonight. Damn chilly for the South!

My Holiday shopping goes well. I secured a copy of a very hard-to-find book for Matt's dad: Marilyn Merlot and the Naked Grape: Odd Wines from Around the World. Yay!
And the rest of the family...blown glass. I get a hell of a discount. ^_^

Book sales continue to go strongly, I have had a few people take up my holiday offer. There is still time for you to get your hands on a copy of A Year and A Day for $10 including first class shipping! Act now!

I hope everyone's December is going well with bright lights, cold nights, and hot cider!

I hope Matt's dad enjoyed my book. Sorry you had difficulty tracking down the Marilyn Merlot and the Naked Grape -- the publishers told me it is in stock in every branch of Borders. It can certainly be ordered from any bookshop and - of course - from Amazon.

Have a great new year!

He LOVED it!
And Barnes and Noble said the publisher had recalled it! But they know me over there and they grabbed one from the back for me! ^_~
Amazon said that they couldn't ship it to be my Christmas on like December 5th...so I am not sure what was up with that!
It is a GREAT book, however! I am glad I was able to track it down! Thanks for bringing it to the world! I heard it reviewed on NPR and just knew I HAD TO HAVE IT!

And thanks for stopping by my blog.
Happy New Year to you, too!
I'll raise a toast to you of whatever clever/silly wine name mentioned in your book we get for New Year's Eve dinner!! (Your book now doubles as a household shopping guide!)
